Low Power Tramsistors
Low power transistors, also known as LPTs and ultra-low voltage (ULV) transistors, silicon-germanium (SiGe) or IGBT transistors, are devices used to amplify high frequency signals in applications such as cell phones and computers. Low-power transistors are used to control the switching of high voltages, currents and power. Depending on the application, these include bipolar transistors, junction field-effect transistors (JFETs) and MOSFETs.
Low-power transistors are a special type of transistor whose operation is suitable for low-power applications. “Low power” means that the circuit, device or system has low current consumption, and heat dissipation is also small. Also Low power transistors have fast switching performance, so it is very suitable for battery-powered devices such as mobile phones or other portable electronics.
